The assignment management page is where you will be able to manage and maintain employees, their assignments and EAFs. Some clients will need approval for certain EAFs. This is controlled in the EAF SettingsStart dates, end dates, and the approver can be edited at anytime without any approval.


On this page you can:

  • Change an employee’s pay/base rate - compensation change
  • Apply a promotion by editing the employee’s position
  • Apply a demotion by editing the employee’s position
  • Approve and reject EAF requests that need approval first
  • Update the start date of an employee's assignment
  • End an assignment
  • Submit a termination request to HR
  • Bulk Create sub-assignments
  • Bulk edit - pay rate, start/end dates, and approving manager
  • Bulk end - assignments/employees
  • View an audit/history of the employee



Navigation:

  1. Go to the client's homepage in Headway Connect
  2. Go to Employment Management > Assignment Management



3. You can search employees individually by their name, start date, end date, approver, location or position.

4. If you want to search by a custom field for the client, click "Advanced Search" and the custom fields for that client will display.


The "Employment Details" of an employee is what is in Prism.

  • The Start Date = the New Effective Date in Prism
  • The Base Rate = the Pay Rate in Prism


The start date can only go to a future date. To backdate the state date, please submit a ticket to the help desk.


When you click on the pencil icon for sub-assignment, you can see the details of the sub-assignment. Some fields may be editable and some may not.

If there are only the start date, end date and approving manager fields available at the bottom as seen below, that means it is an active timesheet so the actual assignment details cannot be changed.


If there are other fields available, that means there are no active timesheets so you can still change the assignment details.
